I was recently speaking to one of my friends who is a graphic design major. They are required to do a final project and he wanted to incorporate technology in the classroom for hers. I found it interesting because she talked how there is technology inside the classroom, but how you can extend it outside as well. I think that as a society there are a vast number of people who are very open to the idea of using technology inside the classroom, but many are opposed. Teachers don't want us to use laptops or phones, but why, when it can be a valuable resource.

I feel like having technology in the classroom is a very scaring thing that people are not to sure about because of a lot of reasons. One reason I think some teachers are very opposed to it is because if you look at majority of the teachers who have been their 25-30 years you see they are much older and I know my mom for example isn't sure how to use certain aspects of technology. She might know how to email and search the web but she isn't as advanced as I am when it comes to finding apps for the classrooms or downloading books. Another reason I think people are against technology in the classroom is because there is a fine line between using the computers for good and using them for mindless things such as Facebook.
