Group 4

For our teacher evaluation there are a few things that we would do to make a successful and beneficial evaluation: We believe that someone should sit down with the teacher at the beginning of the year and ask them how they feel the year will go and What they hope to achieve followed by meetings every month to see how well they are following their plan. We also think that at the end of the year the students and the parents should fill out personal evaluations and use those for the following year to improve their instruction. Have someone go through these evaluations over the summer and allow the teachers to process them and correct mistakes. Always have someone of administration walking around the school to check kn time management and making sure the lesson is being taught well. Along with random visits from the evaluators throughout the year so that the teacher can not taper the lesson to excel in the evaluation. We believe that a beneficial thing would be to have the students take pretests at the beginning of the year followed by tests/evaluations every quarter of the year(that do not count for a grade) to see how well the student developed followed by interviews with some students at the end of year.
