Talking about bullying in class and watching the video of the slam poet in class, immediately made me think of my personal favorite slam poet, Andrea Gibson. Not many have heard of her, but I immediately thought of the poem that she wrote and performs called, "A Letter To The Playground Bully from Andrea Age 8 1/2". While I may be biased because of my passion for the things that she stands for, she has so many poems that can touch peoples lives and help them from a dark place sometimes. Bullying has became a topic of discussion very often these days especially with all of the bullying cases that have been in the news lately.

Bullying is one of things that will always exist in our society no matter how hard we will try to get rid of it. So little things like this poem can hit home for some people, along with making other people realize how serious of an issue that this is.
