New Schools
Last week, we discussed a new vision for schools. You gave us the opportunity to come up with a dream school if we were given one million dollars. After getting in our group, I found it hard for me to think of a perfect school. It was hard to think of a school that would benefit every individual. The reason why I think it is hard for me to imagine the perfect school, because my whole life I grew up with the same idea of a school. It is always the mind set, I would have to learn/do things that I might not want to do. I have always had the same mentality about school, and to imagine a perfect school, where I get the opportunity to pick what I learn is just hard to put into perspective. I have found an article that quoted students on the perfect school. http://teaching.monster.com/benefits/articles/9131-30-students-quoted-what-a-perfect-school-should-be. The number one idea of the perfect school was to have night school. In my opinion, I hate that idea. But again this opinion probably contributes to my ideas of in hard to make a perfect school for every individual to benefit from.
