Consequences of Testing.

I found a pretty interesting article that sums up a lot of the cons we have been talking about regarding standardized testing. It mentions how testing is unfair to many students and can also give the public false information. It also talks about how this affects teachers, such as making the good teachers quit and leading the teachers to teach to the test. I think even these few consequences are very  important to be aware of and it doesn't even mention any of the psychological effects on the children. Once you add in the emotional effects, it should be obvious that this much testing is a bad idea!
